Slowly getting back on track! This post was meant for last week, but due to the girl's accident, I felt they were more important to blog about. If you are interested in seeing some graphic pictures of Sage (much too graphic for me), then feel free to check out my mom's blog (kirkandmelanie.blogspot.com).
As newlyweds, Taylor and I have been able to experience some fun events together. These events include halloween, my birthday and thanksgiving, hence, HALLOWBIRTHGIVING!
I have to give a shout out to my Orem High students Alisha Kallunki and Mary Porter for making me these delicious rainbow cupcakes. Alisha made me this cute monster doll that graces my living room couch. Miss the girls, miss the school!
Taylor burst through the front door on my birthday with flowers, balloons and presents in hand. I lit up like a little girl on Christmas. I am a major fan of loud and bright running shoes, so these kicks were custom made for me! The spandex capris were the cherry on top.

Halloween was spent making my junior high students homemade rootbeer and them decorating creepy cupcakes (creepcakes). I wish I took some pictures because I was amazed with what some of the students were able to create. I showed up as a greek goddess and Taylor went to work as a Jimmy John's delivery boy. And yes, totally forgot to capture photos of my delivery boy. Darn! He sure was a cutie-patootie!
I ditched carving a pumpkin this year because I didn't feel like dealing with the mess, so we turned to our paints. I painted these little witch feet and Taylor's pumpkin did not make it on the blog due to his obscene picture. We will leave it at that!

Thanksgiving was with the Harrington's this year and I was dubbed the pie lady. I brought apple pies and enjoyed time spent with Taylor and his cousins. We stuffed ourselves silly and played card games all night. I saw this decorative pie crust when I was preparing one of my school lessons and am dead set on trying this next year!
